Money Matters

I took some money from her purse. I intended to take only a portion of it. So I would spend what was absolutely necessary and then keep the change back. But there were still more issues. For one thing, she would notice the change more than the missing note. And then there was no such thing as ‘money that is absolutely necessary’. As a matter of fact, I was short of money in the evening. There is some theory that explains the fact that things always flow out from a place where they are in excess. I have no control over the way nature works.

Someday I’ll put money where she would never expect to find some; in volumes so big that she could ever imagine. However I need some urgent cash tomorrow and I hope and expect that you carry enough change in your purse. It’s not any big deal; you wouldn’t know anyway. But then I wouldn’t have to think of ways of returning the change.
